Artist’s Statement
I work as a professional contemporary artist to create
portraits
of people and pets using a variety of paints and drawing materials.
It is a wonderful occupation and very rewarding! Portraits are
created to suit individual requirements and tastes which means
that you can pick the size and medium for your portrait. These
portraits capture a person or animals character and remind us of
a special moment or memory. Each one is unique and can be
appreciated for years to come. Prices start at £50 for
unframed drawings and increase as size, medium and detail demands.
If you have any questions, please look at the

with your request.
I trained as a Fine Artist at Plymouth University learning skills
in drawing, painting and digital video. Conceptual art and
contemporary practice was the main focus of the course. Since
graduating, a love of painting people led me to start this portrait
business.
Some artists which have influenced my work include Annalysa Avanchi,
Jeff Stultins, Suling Wang, Gehart Richter and Bill Viola and I
often visit the National Portrait Gallery, Mall Galleries and
National Gallery in London for inspiration. I have exhibited work in Surrey,
Plymouth, Exeter and Wakefield in various galleries and exhibition
spaces. Details of future exhibitions and events will be posted on
this site, so watch this space!.
